Henry Wilder is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and arranger whose music draws inspiration from the timeless songwriting tradition of the 1970s. Blending Americana, folk, country, and classic pop, Wilder creates nostalgic, cinematic songs built around memorable melodies, honest storytelling, and characters that feel instantly familiar.

Wilder writes every song and oversees every recording from the first lyric to the final mix. His songs are filled with forgotten highways, small towns, family, love, heartbreak, chance encounters, and moments frozen in time. Some are deeply moving, while others are intentionally playful, celebrating a simpler era with warmth, wit, and a touch of nostalgia. Whether hopeful or heartbreaking, every song is written with one purpose: to make listeners feel like they've lived the story before.

Wilder's songwriting is inspired by some of music's greatest storytellers, including Paul Simon, James Taylor, Burt Bacharach & Hal David, Carole King, John Denver, Randy Newman, Brian Wilson, Joni Mitchell, J.D. Souther, Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Eagles and more. Drawn to the spirit of the Laurel Canyon era, he often says that if a time machine existed, that's where he'd go. His music reflects that admiration, combining thoughtful lyrics, memorable melodies, and classic craftsmanship with a modern perspective.

Henry Wilder is from a small town outside Amarillo, Texas, where he grew up surrounded by wide-open skies, winding country roads, and a soundtrack of timeless records that sparked a lifelong love of songwriting. A child of the '90s, Henry grew up with one foot in the era of cassette tapes and the other discovering the timeless songwriting of the '60s and '70s. Now based in Ojai, California, Henry spends his days writing songs, recording in his home studio, and finding inspiration in the quiet places most people drive right past.

Away from the studio, Henry enjoys spending time with his dog, Django, and his cat, Daisy. A hobbyist guitar builder and amateur luthier, he also has a tradition of seeking out old roadside diners wherever his travels take him. He's on a personal quest to photograph one historic roadside diner in every state, believing every faded neon sign, worn countertop, and grease-stained menu tells a story. One day, he hopes to turn those photographs into a coffee table book celebrating America's disappearing roadside diners.

His debut album, The Canyon Remembers, will be released in Spring 2027, introducing listeners to a collection of songs that celebrate timeless melodies, heartfelt storytelling, and the enduring spirit of the Laurel Canyon era.
